Terms of Service
Draft — effective at launch. Quest is not yet generally available. These terms take effect when the service does. They have not yet had legal review.
1. The service
Quest is a productivity suite — kanban boards, goal tracking, an infinite canvas and an encrypted file vault — provided as an online service at app.getquest.gg. The apps are offline-first: they keep working without a connection and sync when one returns.
2. Your account
Accounts are managed by our identity service at id.getquest.gg. You are responsible for your credentials and for what happens under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these terms to use the service.
3. Your content
Everything you create in Quest — boards, goals, canvases, files — is yours. We claim no ownership and no license beyond what is technically required to store and sync it back to you. You can export it or delete it at any time; the privacy policy describes both.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use Quest to break the law, to attack the service or other users’ data, or to probe the access controls. Security research on your own account and data is welcome; disclose findings to hello@getquest.gg.
5. Availability
We aim for the service to be reliable, and the offline-first design means a server outage does not lock you out of your own data. Still, the service is provided “as is”, without a warranty of uninterrupted availability. During the early-access period, features may change or be withdrawn.
6. Paid plans
Free and paid tiers will be described on the pricing page when they take effect. Changes to paid plans will be announced before they apply to an existing subscription.
7. Termination
You can stop using Quest and delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate section 4, and will say why.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes
Changes to these terms land here, with a new “last updated” date, before they take effect.
